The English-language journal China International Studies was formally launched on December 12, 2005. Patronized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and sponsored by China Institute of International Studies, it is the first and only(until now) English academic publication in China on diplomacy and international politics for formal circulation.

The journal is dedicated to the examination and analysis of hot issues in international politics, world economy, international security and global strategy. It pursues a serious and down-to-earth style and introduces the latest progress in academic research.
