2017 Sino-Pakistan Think-Tank Seminar Held in Beijing

     On December 14, 2017, ¡°Opportunities and Challenges: the Evolving Situation in South Asia and Sino-Pakistan Relations¡± 2017 Sino-Pakistan Think-Tank Seminar was successfully held in Beijing.

      Major issues of the conference include ¡°the evolving situation in South Asia¡±, ¡°the reconciliation process of Afghanistan and Afghan-Pakistan relations¡±, and ¡°all-weather strategic partnership of cooperation between China and Pakistan¡±. Both sides had fruitful discussions and offered advice for promoting bilateral think-tank interactions and  deepening Sino-Pakistan ties.

      More than 20 Chinese and Pakistani scholars from Pakistan Regional Peace Institute, National Defense University, Quaid-e-Azam University, China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR), Peking University and Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies, Renmin University participated and spoke in the meeting. H.E. Mr Masood Khalid, Pakistani Ambassador to China attended and addressed the conference.
