The “Chinese Dream” in a Global Perspective

Since Chinese President Xi Jinping put forward the concept of “Chinese Dream”, which means the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, in 2012, media around the world has been discussing it with enthusiasm. To clarify the connotations of the concept, CIIS researchers wrote this book. They tried to analyze the “Chinese Dream” in a global perspective by examining the international background, especially relations between major powers, of China’s pursuit of its dream, the relationship between Chinese Dream and other dreams in China’s neighborhood as well as the relationship between Chinese Dream and the prosperity of Asia’s and the world economy.

Edited by Dr. Ruan Zongze, Executive Vice President of CIIS, the book was published in Hong Kong by Chung Hwa Book Co. in December 2015.
